We started our business with a humble beginning in 2000 as Saifie International, later in 2008 company was re-registered as Singapore Maritime Services. Our initial business was Marine Survey, Audits & Consultancy but later expanded into Ship Management, Crewing and other Maritime Services.
Who We Are
Singapore Maritime Services was founded by Capt. Amir Saifie (President & Group CEO), who hold Master Mariner CoC Class 1 from U.K and sailed in esteemed companies like Baksh Line, Gokal Shipping, Wallem, IRISL, NITC, KOTC, Ocean Tankers onboard VLCC, Product Tanker, Chemical Tankers, Bulk Carriers, Log Carriers, Reefer and Offshore Vessels.
Coming ashore Capt. Amir Saifie worked his way up on various shore-based positions as Marine Superintendent & Internal Auditor for Ocean Tankers, Marine Manager for Porsafe Production for Conversion and Management of FPSO’s, Safety & Operations Manager (DPA / CSO) for Penguin Ferries, Maritime Lecturer in Singapore Maritime Academy, HR & Crewing Manager for Brightoil, Director Ship Management for Transocean.
